About
Skylight was formed around 10 years ago to provide good quality, cost effective equipment for educational and community theatre. Based in Worcester we serve many groups in surrounding areas - From Cheltenham to Redditch, Evesham to Hereford - all groups have benefited from the equipment, support and advice given. All payment received in respect of the equipment used to purchase additional equipment as well as maintain the current kit, consumable items and pay for any licences and insurances required for equipment use.
Skylight originally set out to provide sound kit such as radio mics, but as time has gone on some additional equipment such as lighting and effects have been bought. This kind of equipment would not normally be 'hired' in by groups because of the cost involved. Skylight enables these groups to use equipment which would normally be outside of their budget.
Skylight also supports charitable events and functions. Ranging from one off fun days to intense 2 week show, Skylight has provided equipment for over 100 shows in the last few years and continues to expand the equipment available.
